Pars Glycol Petrochemical Complex (formerly Pars Phenol)

The production capacity of Pars Glycol Petrochemical is a total of 553,500 tons of ethylene glycol, of which 500,000 tons of monoethylene glycol will be produced as the main product, 50,000 tons of diethylene glycol and 3,500 tons of triethylene glycol will be produced in this complex.

Pars Glycol Petrochemical receives 340,000 tons of ethylene from Bushehr Petrochemical, 226 million cubic meters of oxygen from Damavand Petrochemical and 0.02 million cubic meters of natural gas daily from National Gas Company as feed.

The main shareholder of Pars Glycol Petrochemical is Bakhtar Holding Company, and the construction of this project started at the beginning of 2014 on a land of 7.33 hectares in the second phase of Petrochemical of Pars Energy Special Economic Zone, and it was put into operation today.

The products of this complex are used as raw materials for the production of PET, antifreeze, softeners in textiles, moisture absorbers in refineries, etc.
