History of Morvarid Petrochemical Company
Ethylene Asalouye project is a part of Kharg Olefin, which was assigned to Marwarid Petrochemical Company by Resolution No. 592/111-1 dated 12/28/84.
The feed of the unit will be supplied from the ethane produced by South Pars units in the amount of 650 thousand tons per year.
The capacity of the unit is to produce 500,000 tons of ethylene per year, of which 340,000 tons are used as feed for the ethylene glycol unit and the rest is sent to the applicant companies.
