History of Lorestan Petrochemical Complex
Lorestan Petrochemical Project is one of the projects of Bakhtar Petrochemical Company, which is located in Lorestan province and Khorramabad city, km 12 of Kohdasht road.
The feed and raw materials needed for this project started from Asalouye South Pars and after passing through Noor Abad Momsani, Mahshahr Andimeshk, Khorram Abad, Hamedan… finally it ends in Mahabad, this pipeline is currently under construction.
The main petrochemical product is polyethylene, whose downstream industries include all kinds of raw materials for plastic products, covers for all kinds of industrial electric cables.

Application of Lorestan petrochemical products
- Feed for downstream industrial units and all kinds of plastic uses (such as: pipes, cables and all kinds of films …)
- Production of chemical fertilizers and as coolant in refrigeration cycles
