History of Ibne Sina Petro Kimia Company

Ibn Sina Petrochemical Company was established in 2005 with the investment of the private sector with the aim of producing products such as maleic anhydride, butane DL (BDO) and polybutylene terephthalate (PBT). The first phase of the project to produce maleic anhydride, normal butane and isobutane started in 1393 and was put into operation in 1400.

We consider environmentally friendly production and sustainable use of natural resources as our duty. Therefore, in this project, many measures have been taken to minimize energy consumption and waste production. The use of butane feed instead of benzene is also in the same direction and using the latest technological developments in this field.

Normal butane is mainly used as LPG or liquefied compressed gas. The upstream industries of this product include oil and gas industries, wet natural gas and fracked gas. Now we will talk about the downstream industries of normal Bhutan. Downstream industries of this chemical compound in which it is used frequently include: organic syntheses, solvents, refrigerants and other related industries. The main roles of this profitable market will be played by countries like Russia, America and China.
