History of Iran Carbon Company
In 1351, the National Petrochemical Company, with the participation of the Industrial and Mining Development Bank, signed a contract with one of the most famous American carbon black factories, namely Cabot Corporation.
The construction operation started under the supervision of the engineers of the Iranian company and an American company called Simon Karoz in Ahvaz, which after the completion of the construction work and the installation of the machinery, started its production in January 1353 with an annual capacity of 14 thousand tons.
