Persain Gulf Fajr Energy Company

The country’s petrochemical industry is one of the most effective drivers in the field of development and national economy, and with the definition of a 20-year vision, it promises to bring about transformation in the economic and social dimensions of Iran.

The sustainability of production in the industry requires basic foundations to guarantee and continue it, it is the most important element in this field of energy.

Energy is one of the most basic needs of the petrochemical industries of the special economic zone, which by using it, millions of tons of products are produced and sent to the world markets every year.

Fajr Gulf Energy Company (formerly Fajr Petrochemical) was established in 1377 with the aim of providing utilities needed by companies in the Special Economic Zone located in Imam Khomeini Port, and was put into operation as the first centralized utility company in the country in 1381.

With the increase of new plans in sites 2 and 3 and the need to supply more utilities, Fajr Energy development plan was implemented in site 2.

In line with the implementation of the policies of Article 44 of the Constitution, the ownership of this company was transferred to the Persian Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company in 1388, and due to its brilliant performance in various strategic areas, after being accepted in the stock market, a part of the company’s shares in the market in 1394 The country’s stock market was launched and Fajr Petrochemical joined the Iranian capital market.
