History of Shimi Baft Petrochemical Company
Shimi Baft Petrochemical Company was first established in 1373, then with the aim of producing the strategic MTBE product, it started its official activity in 1378, and as the second company producing this product in the country, with a capacity of 45,000 tons, it was put into operation in 1381. The second unit was produced with the same capacity in 2005.
