History of Razi Petrochemical Company
Razi Petrochemical Complex is one of the most important factories producing nitrogen and phosphate fertilizers and chemicals in the country. The first phase of the units of this complex was put into operation in 1349 after four years of construction.
Due to the age of the units and the damage caused in the imposed war, the achievable capacity reached 2,400,000 tons, it is expected that with the completion of the ongoing projects, production units with a capacity of more than 3,000,000 (three million tons) per year will be completed reach.
This complex is the largest producer of ammonia, urea fertilizer, sulfuric acid and sulfur and the only producer of phosphoric acid and diammonium phosphate fertilizer (mixed phosphate and ammonium sulfate fertilizer) in Iran.
In addition to meeting domestic needs, the mentioned products play a valuable role in meeting the foreign exchange needs of the complex and petrochemical industry by exporting sulfur, ammonia, urea and sulfuric acid to the world markets every year.
