Iran Chemical Industries Investment Company (Public Stock) was established in 1363. The implementation of the plan to create a linear alkylbenzene complex (LAB) started at the end of 2019 in an area of ​​3,420,000 square meters in the northwest industrial area of ​​Isfahan.

The technical knowledge of this project was purchased for the annual production of 50,000 tons of linear alkylbenzene and 46,000 tons of normal paraffin, and finally, this production complex was put into operation on June 11, 2013. With the increase in domestic consumption and the improvement of the consumption market in the region, the implementation of the company’s development plan for the annual production of 75,000 tons of linear alkylbenzene and 140,000 tons of normal paraffin was strengthened. By taking advantage of the existing knowledge and using the scientific and experimental skills of the experts, this company succeeded in completing its development plan in 2012. In order to reduce the production of heavy alkylate by-product (HAB) and also to improve the quality and increase the amount of production of linear alkylbenzene (LAB), Iran Chemical Industries Investment Company, in cooperation with Sinopec, successfully operated the project of selective hydrogenation of diolefins (DSH) in 1387 delivered In 1389, Iran Chemical Industries Investment Company succeeded in receiving the national standard for its products and registered another golden leaf in its record of honors.
