History of Farsa Chimie Petrochemical Company
Farsa chimie Company is one of the member companies of the Petrochemical Industry Employers Association (APIC) and a member of the Oil, Gas and Petrochemical Products Exporters Union (OPEX), which was established in 2013. This company is one of the producers of various ethylene glycols and exporters. An example is Tehran province, with an annual production capacity of 444 thousand tons of ethylene glycols, which includes:
- 400 thousand tons of monoethylene glycol
- 40 thousand tons of diethylene glycol
- 4 thousand tons of triethylene glycol
Almost 90% of the products are exported to the international Asian and European markets with the aim of meeting the global demand of this material, and about 10% of the products are to meet the domestic needs of the country.
Of the 100% global production capacity of monoethylene glycol, 84% is used in the preparation of polyester, polyethylene terephthalate (PET), fiber grade, film and bottle, and 8% of it is used in antifreeze formulation, and 8% of it is used in solvents, dehumidifiers and other Items are consumed.
It is worth mentioning that the physical and chemical properties of the manufactured products are in accordance with the properties of the licenser company (Shell Company).
