The ethylene transmission pipeline project in the west of the country was approved by the government on 5/2/1381. After the start of the implementation of this huge pipeline project by the Petrochemical Industries Development Management Company, within the framework of the country’s economic development program and in order to create petrochemical and petrochemical industries, Bakhtar Petrochemical Company was established as a holding company and on 17/11/2013 was registered At first, the Elfin 11 project was handed over to Bakhtar Petrochemical Company, and then, in order to create petrochemical production industries in less developed and deprived areas, as well as to improve the quality and quantity of petrochemical products, firstly, Lorestan, Kurdistan, and Gachsaran Petrochemical Companies in history 1/31/1384 and then on 4/25/1384, Mahabad Petrochemical and Kermanshah Polymer companies were registered with 100% of shares belonging to Bakhtar Petrochemical Company. Subsequently, the second approval of the government board was issued on 6/30/1384 for four new points. During the provincial visit of the president to Fars province in the middle of May 2086, the construction of a heavy polyethylene production unit with a capacity of 300,000 tons per year was established in Noorabad Mamsani and this plan was named as a national plan. Pursuant to the approvals of the government board, Mamsani Petrochemical Company was established as a joint stock company and was registered on 9/10/2016. This company has implemented the Noorabad Mamsani heavy polyethylene production unit project, the purpose of its implementation is to produce heavy polyethylene raw materials in the first stage to meet the needs of domestic markets and feed downstream industries, and in the next stage to export the product to global markets. The 93-hectare land allocated to the project was plowed on 19/10/2016 and thus the date of the start of the implementation of the project was defined.
